It states that it is written for k-12 but I would use it for mainly k-8. The experiments are very fun and easy to do. The experiments only requires household materials also. Each experiment lists the experiment, materials needed, the objective, procedure, and findings or conclusion. It really gets your students ready to use the scientific method. - Thursday, July 24, 2008Great Resource! I teach science classes to homeschool students and ordered this book in order to create practical and interesting labs. Many high school chemistry books do not have practical labs for homeschool students and this book had all the needed instructions to use houseshold substances. It covers the same kinds of experiments that any high school student would do to gain an understanding of chemistry and practice lab skills. I also liked that it included the chemical equations in the explanations. I merely came up with my own lab questions. |
