Exploring Nature Coloring Page & Scavenger Hunt Worksheet

Use this Exploring Nature Worksheet as a scavenger hunt list with our Nature Scavenger Hunt Project. You can color in the objects on the worksheet, and draw more items that you see as you are exploring nature. While this printable was designed for younger children, you can adapt it for older children by challenging them to identify anything they find by its common and scientific name. Additionally, challenge older kids to find and record at least 10 different nature items (trees, insects, etc.). Use this worksheet along with a science notebook and make a leaf rubbing, collect insects, or start a rock collection. This is just the jumping off point; exploring nature options are limitless!
