Home / / Experiment with Wind Power

This is what I used for my science fair project. The info was helpful, and I made homemade wings of different shapes and sizes to see if they would light a bulb. It didn’t light the bulb and took a bit of time to set up but it was still fun doing the experiment. I used a chopped cork as the center because the paper wasn’t quite working by itself. I also got a volt meter and tested how many volts each kind of wing gave off. Most gave off about 50, but one pair of wings got about 20 volts. That was probably just the shape I used. This project was fun and great, and not super hard.
