An ecomonical alternative to the costly A Beka chemistry labs is the MicroChem Kit. It includes 17 labs that correlate with 11 chapters of the A Beka Chemistry Precision and Design text. While this is a less rigorous lab experience, it is much more cost effective. Also, a balance is not needed with the MicroChem Kit.
