Advanced Chemistry in Creation from Apologia is designed for the homeschool student who is ready for a second chemistry course before entering college. This course in addition to Exploring Creation with Chemistry is equivalent to a college level chemistry course. The first 2 modules include a review of chemical equations, stoichiometry, and atoms. In the remaining 14 modules the student will learn in depth about limiting-reagent stoichiometry, atomic and molecular orbitals, intermolecular forces, solutions, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox reactions, nuclear chemistry and organic chemistry. The 23 lab experiments require basic chemistry equipment and an advanced chemistry lab equipment set. First year chemistry and Algebra 2 are prerequisites. Grades 11-12.
