Kids can control this robot by creating black and white patterns on a disk. These patterns are read by an infrared sensor that activates the robot's wheels, so that it turns right, left, goes forward, or pauses depending on the patterns. When you want to change the Binary Player robot's movements, just create a new pattern on the disk. This kit teaches the basic principles of robotic sensing and locomotion.

You provide household tools, 4 AA batteries, and help for younger kids. Advanced Beginner Level: Ages 10-14.
