Discover the power of fuel cells as you experiment with this desktop kit that creates electricity from ethanol. Instead of hydrogen, this fuel cell is powered by ethanol, an alternate fuel source for internal combustion engines. This innovative design uses ethanol as the fuel to produce electricity without any combustion. Just add a solution of water and 10% ethanol to the fuel cell. Once the ethanol undergoes a chemical change into vinegar, the used fuel is expelled and fresh ethanol can flow in. The electrical energy generated with only a few drops of ethanol is used to power a small fan that can run for 8-12 hours. Includes a manual for setup and experiments. You provide
