Ordered these for a neuroscience outreach session with a 6th grade class. My order was filled and shipped promptly and the sheep brains were packaged and preserved very well. The tissue was easy to dissect and the kids really enjoyed getting to have hand's on time with a real tissue. Thanks!

Great Addition to Anatomy Study

My four Apologia Advanced Biology students very much enjoyed the dissection of the sheep brain that correlated with the study of the human brain. This hands-on activity was well worth the effort. The specimen were excellent and delivered with Home Science Tool's usual promptness!

It arrived quickly and was not as smelly as when I grew up. The brains arrived quickly, and in excellent condition. They were very useful tools for explaining the basic anatomy and function of the mammalian brain, and the students seemed to enjoy the opportunity to see, touch, and manipulate a real brain. We highly recommend this product, especially for anybody interested in an introduction to neuroscience... or anybody who just wants to poke a brain.  -  Monday, February 11, 2008 Fun and Educational   We discected these brains as part of our co-op science class.
