The two-foot tall, pop-up, reusable butterfly pavilion has a zippered door, allowing easy access for care and feeding. Includes complete instructions, mail-in coupon for 6-10 Painted Lady larvae with special food, and butterfly pavilion habitat. Six butterflies are guaranteed to be perfect. The butterflies take approximately three weeks to develop from caterpillar to crysalis to adult. Ages 4 & up.

Loads of Fun!!Reviewed By: Danielle This kit is incredible!! My children were all enthralled with watching the caterpillers turn into butterflies. It was a great experience and fabulous science lesson for all ages.

Just Beautiful!Reviewed By: Jeri We received 10 larvae and all 10 of them turned into the beautiful butterflies. It was truly an amazing thing to watch the whole process up to the point where they were laying eggs. We hated too, but we finally let them go to live out the rest of their short lives outside with hopes of them laying more eggs and seeing them in our butterfly garden. The kids were just amazed at the process and I very highly recommend this product. Great habitat for other insects too like lightening bugs and the such.

Awesome fun! We love watching this amazing natural phenomenon! The butterflies were beautiful and mesmerizing. We could watch for hours.

Family Fun!! What a great addition to our science curriculum!! My daugther cannot believe she got to watch caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies. It is very inexpensive and offers a great tool in the education process.
