Fun experiments

At http://www.science-house.org/learn/CountertopChem/index.html you will find a whole bunch of great experiments. Most use real chemicals, and I have been able to find all of these at home science tools. In fact, at least once I've seen a post on a chemistry site lamenting how hard it was to find a specific chemical, and someone else had already told them to come to this site. This chemical was used for one of the "Zip-top bag" experiments, and the kids really enjoyed it. I do keep the chemicals located in a hidden spot, out of reach of children, with the lid securely fastened.
