All of these glass beakers and flasks are made of high-quality borosilicate glass and can be heated over an open flame. Pyrex beakers are U.S.-made and Bomex beakers are imported, but the quality of both is very satisfactory. Use a #6 rubber stopper with 250 ml flasks and 500 ml Bomex and Florence flasks. Use #8 rubber stoppers with 500 ml Pyrex ones.
