This kit comes with five sticks, a growing jar, and one pound of pure sucrose for clear crystals. The instructions include enough information on crystals to make this a nice unit study. You provide adult supervision. Grades K-12.
We ordered this for a family project. Each of the 3 kids had their own jar. We colored each differently with food coloring to help them track their progress against the others. They loved watching the progress each day. Their favorite part was eating them when they had finished growing. Thanks for making Science fun.
