This book is part of the life science curriculum by Debbie and Richard Lawrence for grades 1-6. Topics include classification, cells, animal kingdom, mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish, arthropods, coelenterates, echinoderms, sponges, and worms. 118 pp. Grades 1-6. 2nd edition.
Each book has 30-35 lessons and each lesson includes an activity and "What Did We Learn?" questions. Also includes special people, event highlights, and unit quizzes. Ideal for grades 4-6 but can be easily adapted for younger children. Plan about 45 minutes to complete each lesson.
We have been using this book this year, and we absolutly love it! It is full of great information about the animal kingdom, while still giving God the glory for His creation. Answers in Genesis is our most favorite resource for learning creation science. The God's design for life Animal Kingdom teaches about the animal kingdom from a creation science point of view, and is taught on a level that is understandable for young children. I recommend it!!
