This is the perfect kit for encouraging kids' natural curiosity and introducing them to the wonders of nature! It provides real
hands-on tools that allow them to explore the world of birds, plants, insects, and more.
The included Watching Nature book helps kids get started with tips on what to look for and where. In addition, the fact-filled Golden Guides let them identify and learn about the treasures they find. As kids catch butterflies and bugs with the insect net, make a leaf and flower collection with the plant press, and watch birds and other small animals with the compact binoculars, they'll learn valuable observation skills and come to love the intricacies of the natural world. For grades 2-8.

My 7-year-old daughter received this for Christmas and we are all impressed with the quality of the items. Everything has been tested out already and there is a leaf in the flower press as I type. A fun and useful gift that she'll be using for years.
We are THRILLED!!!

I just want to say THANK YOU! We are so excited! I just ordered two of these backpacks for my boys and they came today. I am thrilled with the quality of all of the items that are included. The backpack is heavy duty, the binoculars are not toys, they are great! The books are fantastic, as is the plant press. The net is sturdy and will, I have not doubt, survive even my two enthusiastic guys! We are going to a Nature Center tomorrow for a class on Animals and their Habitats and we are taking our new Nature Backpacks. I could not be happier. Thanks so much for another quality item.
