The CD-ROM version of Apologia's Exploring Creation With Chemistry has all of the information found in the print version of the course, plus multimedia add-ons such as animations, videos, narrations, and audio pronunciation guides. Same format as the textbook with photos and illustrations in full color. Pages are printable. Students can take tests and answer questions on the computer or print out the study guides and tests to answer them on paper. Password-protected answers are available to parents for grading. This is a complete course, not a supplement! Topics include measurement, energy, heat, atoms and molecules, classifying matter, chemical equations, stoichiometry, atomic and molecular structure, acids and bases, solutions, gas phase, thermodynamics, kinetics, chemical equilibrium, and reduction-oxidation reactions. Algebra 1 is a prerequisite. 2nd edition. Grades 9-12.

Audio files of text being read aloud are not included - you can order the audio CD separately.

Requires a PC computer with sound card, speakers, and a printer, running Windows 95/NT or higher. Requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher (provided on the CD). We recommend at least a Pentium 100 processor with 16Mb of RAM.
