(Chemistry - Companion CD
This is the multimedia companion to Apologia's Exploring Creation with Chemistry. It contains all of the add-ons from the Chemistry CD-ROM course, but excludes the text of the course. This is the perfect supplement for those who want to use a print textbook but are interested in the extras that can be found on the CD-ROM. It also includes lab demonstration videos. 2nd edition.Examples of multimedia content on this CD:
- Animation: Figure 4.7 - animation of a chemical reaction at the atomic level.
- Pronunciation: Xenon - 1-second recording of a voice saying "Zee-nawn."
- Movie: The Density of Gases - short film showing two experiments with two ballons (one filled with hydrogen and the other with carbon dioxide). One shows the balloons being released at the same time; the other shows both being ignited.
Note: Requires a PC computer with sound card, speakers, and a printer, running Windows 95/NT or higher. Requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher (provided on the CD). We recommend at least a Pentium 100 processor with 16Mb of RAM.
