We used this great kit after learning the basics of pH and doing some testing of common household substances with pH strips purchased separately (item: CH-PHSTRIP). It was a wonderful reinforcement of what we had just learned, since there were several color-changing experiments involving pH. We also did the chromatography experiment and appreciated several follow-up ideas for making our own color changing paper and "inks" out of common things we had at home (like curry powder and lemon juice). |
