This kit is fun! A friend and I did some expirament with it, and we realized that some expiraments (like with the corroded penny) work better when you just leave the solution in the sink and run the water until it disappears. Very enjoyable kit!

I bought 18 of these kits to use in the Co-op. All of the students enjoyed playing chemist and mixing the chemicals. It was easy to use with a class this size. Not all of the experiments worked, but that was a learning process for the students. The experiments that did work were very cool!

Bought twice

My daughter enjoyed this kit, and then a younger child dumped it all out, so I bought it again for my son to try out. What I appreciate about these kits is that everything they need is in the bucket (except some household items), and they can do it without my needing to orchestrate. I've looked around, and HST has a good price on these kits.

Just didn't work

The kit came so neatly with everything you could need for the experiments, but it just didn't work at all for us. I know luminol has a relatively short shelf life, so I may have waited too long too use it (we waited a few months).
