    Great fun!

This was all it promised to be. We even had a wonderful time looking at the crystals under a microscope and drawing pictures of them. The shapes were obvious to determine and so different that they were easy to classify. Even the little kids (ages 3-8), really enjoyed looking at them. To get the full effect look at them under a microscope. We saved them and still look at them occasionally. I highly recommend this for one of those off days when you need some low-key educational fun.

    Crystal Growing Kit

My daughter loved mixing and measuring then watching the daily changes to the crystals. The only problem was the fact that she wanted to hold the crystals when they were finished. I think we will try the crystal growing kit that makes rock candy from sugar next! At least she will be able to handle and EAT those.
