A fun experience.
 
These papers are 55mm in diameter. We used them in a 85mm petri dish and they still worked fine. Follow the pdf directions given under crystal growing kit item KT-CRYKIT. The potassium ferricyanide crystals were our favorite. You can redissolve the crystals and do it again.
