- 10 extra-large exotic insect specimens packaged in glassine envelopes or papered (you will need to relax and spread these before pinning them in the display case)
- A large 12" x 16" glass-top exhibit case with pinning board
- A 4" x 12" insect spreading board (to prepare your insects for display)
- 100 No. 2 stainless steel insect pins
- Instructions for relaxing and pinning your insects
The 10 insect specimens typically include the following:
- Graphium antiphates (Five-bar Swordtail Butterfly), 70mm wingspan
- Attacus atlas (Atlas Moth), 200mm wingspan
- Tosena splendida (Cicada), 120mm wingspan
- Odontolabis mouhotii elegans (Stag Beetle), 70mm length
- Eupatorus gracilicornis (Rhinoceros Beetle), 70mm length
- Tirachoidea westwoodi (Walking Stick), 210mm length
- Heterometrus laoticus (Scorpion), 120mm length
- Chrysochroa buqueti rugicollis (Jewel Beetle), 50mm length
- Dorysthenes walkeri (Longhorn Beetle), 70mm length
- Megaloxantha bicolor assamensis (Jewel Beetle), 70mm length
Sometimes substitutions are necessary and similar insects will be included instead.
Note: Most of these specimens are grade A1 quality, but some may have broken legs or antennae that need to be glued in place. At this low price, we are unable to guarantee specimen quality.
