This tray is specially designed for dissecting the dogfish shark. A groove down the center of the tray holds the dorsal fin for easy dissection access. It is strong and rigid, molded of heavy-gauge, high-density polyethylene. The tray is 31" long and 15" at the widest point.

Shark Tray
 
I am so glad we purchased this along w/the shark for the Apologia Marine Biology. It really helped my daughter to 1)see up close the anatomy which imho cannot be done on-line, 2)it helped keep the working area clean and facilitated proper placement of the shark-it did not roll back and forth because of the dorsal fin.
