Fantastic 2-Year Health Fun!!Reviewed By: Connie M. I've just spent an entire school year doing this book with my 2 daughters (4th & 6th grades). It has been so much fun! Each daughter also had their own notebooking journal (the one that goes with the book that is pre-made). Some of the words are very technical, like other Apologia texts, but still understandable. We divided this book into 2-year chunks so that we could slow the pace down and have fun. We are completing lessons 1-7 this year and will do lessons 8-14 next year. (It's health, not math.) It does not come with assessments (tests), but I made my own. All of the experiments have been easy enough for my girls to do them on their own. And, they all pretty much use household items. This really brought health alive for us. This text shows God as Creator of our bodies and all that works within us in details that are fascinating for kids. As a homeschooling mom of 6, graduating 2 so far, and schooling for 14 years, this was more fun than the standard mainstream elementary health text.
