Why are some of your website prices different from your catalog prices?

For many years we've sent out our new catalogs and set our new pricing based on a May-April schedule that was designed around preparing for the school year. At the same time, our suppliers have had a January-December pricing schedule based on the calendar year. We were getting pricing changes from them beginning in January, but not changing our prices until May—a practice that increased our costs and in the long run affected yours, too.  So starting in 2008,  we've decided to go with a calendar year pricing schedule that better matches others' practices.

This means that some of our catalog prices won't match the prices on our website, which are all correct and up-to-date.  We are working as quickly as possible to get a new catalog out with all the right pricing. You can expect to receive it in mid to late March of 2008. (This year we'll also be creating 1-2 more catalogs to tell you about new products throughout the year.) Please be assured that we remain committed to provide you the lowest prices we can.
