Great science programReviewed By: Mabel This is the best science course that I have come across. It teaches from a Christian point of view. It also helps to teach with a hands on perspective.

Great Science ProgramReviewed By: Lois Budesheim I feel very confident that this book is covering the important science topics that my daughter should know for grade 7. I thoroughly reviewed the contents before purchasing. It is well written, even conversational with the reader. I appreciate how the experiments are sprinkled in to add to the text at the appropriate time. My daughter is thoroughly enjoying science this year, and the experiments are helping to solidify what she is learning in the text. It is nice to have the list of supplies needed which is provided as well as having the experiment kits available for purchase.

Fantastic science curriculumReviewed By: Carol I am very impressed with this science curriculum. Science is now my daughter's favorite subject. She loves the experiments, as well as the way that Dr. Wile explains the subject. We all appreciate that Dr. Wile writes from a creationist perspective. He's great!
We use the audio CD so we can read along, since she is an auditory learner. We have also found it is much easier to order the kit for each book so we have it handy.

My Daughter Loves Science! Before trying Apologia General Science, my daughter was bored and totally uninterested when it came to science. She is doing this book entirely on her own and loving it! The text is easy to understand without dumbing down the topics and the experiments really make the text come alive.

My son is learning a great deal and enjoys doing the experiments, which are so beneficial. The lab kit has come in handy, especially for those hard-to-find items. We are also grateful for the biblical worldview.
- Sunday, September 10, 2006 Sound Curriculum One thing I really like about this curriculum is that in the beginning of the book they have a list of all the materials needed to complete each module's experiments. Both my kids have enjoyed it thus far, grades 7 and 9. They've had a blast doing the experiments, which there are plenty of. It works really well for our homeschooling family and seems to be quite hands-on. The one thing I don't like are the tests. They are basically all short answer. My kids both have memory problems and so this format is difficult for them. To remedy that I will be reformatting them to fit our needs.
- Tuesday, September 05, 2006 Wonderful curriculum We love Apologia's user friendly science curriculum. I love that it speaks directly to the student and requires little preperation on my part. My daughter likes that it's simple to understand. I'm also excited about the way that Apologia integrates Biblical understandings of creation with scientific evidence and principals.
- Tuesday, September 05, 2006 General Science This is a wonderful curriculum, very user friendly. However, my kids missed the beautiful pictures in the Abeka series we used before. On the other hand, this was more understandable and useable for homeschool families.
