Rockin' Field TripReviewed By: Jodi This kit contains small but adequate-sized specimens of fossils, minerals, rocks, and gems. The assortment keeps kids busy with not only the fun of handling the specimens, but also the fun of identifying them. Even the adults in our home enjoy this kit. We keep coming back for more. Recommended.

Son loves!Reviewed By: Myla My son really is enjoying this. He received this for Christmas and is still toting them around and telling everyone about them! He is 7. Good price for a good product!

Great for the priceReviewed By: Stephanie We received everything in good shape. The rocks were in a bag with sand in it. At first I thought they made a mistake with the order, but then I realized that the rocks were very small. The variety of rocks, fossils and minerals is great. It was a little hard identifying some of the items. It would be helpful to know exactly what they are or at least have an answer sheet somewhere. Overall, for a beginner and for the price it was a great buy.

This rock collection is GreatReviewed By: Randy Johnson This was shiped to us quickly. We were quite impressed by the variety and quantity of rocks. My kids got it out and re-sorted and categorized them several times during the time we were studying geology. To us, it was a good value.

Geology Field Trip in a BagReviewed By: Andria The rocks are small, but the variety is fantastic. Most collections don't have this many types of rocks. We enjoyed it.
Read More Reviews - Monday, March 24, 2008 Pretty good for lower levels I was a little disappointed when I first saw the product, but upon exploring it it turned out to be kind of fun. Some rocks are easy to ID but others are not. It would be nice if it had a small color picture card with it with the names. The rocks are really small and come in a small sandwich bag size bag. It is just fine for an intro to rocks for K-1 grade but I would go with a better set for older kids.
- Thursday, February 28, 2008 Geology Field Trip in a Bag Reviewed By: Mary Ebert At first I was disappointed because I expected the rocks to be labeled. It turned out to be much more fun to figure out the name of each rock, mineral, and fossil ourselves. I feel like this is a great product for the money you spend. My only suggestion would be to have the answers somewhere; either with the kit or at least to be able to go to your web site. I am not 100% sure we have them ALL right. Thanks
