(You read the level of a graduated cylinder at the bottom of the meniscus.) They are also chemically-resistant and thermally-resistant for all applications. Great cylinder!Reviewed By: Timmy I love glass graduated cylinders, great for the gas project I did. I tested the amount of gas that a banana peeling created into hydrogen peroxide (this was done with a test tube and ballon. Put the graduated cylinder upside down into some water, did my experiment and took the ballon with gas into the cylinder to measure the amount of gas!
