Graduated cylinder, poly, 10 ml
This 10 ml polypropylene graduated cylinder is an economical way to accurately measure liquid volumes. Polypropylene (plastic) graduated cylinders are unbreakable and have excellent chemical resistance, but are opaque and therefore somewhat more difficult to read than glass.
This graduated cylinder has a capacity of 10 ml with graduations marked every 0.2 ml and it has an accuracy of ± 0.2 ml at 20°C. Approximately 14.5 cm tall and 1.5 cm in diameter. Don't use it for strong solvents.

It is very hard to read. The plastic is white and it is hard to see where the clear liquids rise to... - Saturday, August 13, 2011 Don' Like PolyReviewed By: Marcelle Adkins I bought these because they were nonbreakable. But upon receipt, I decided to return them. I don't like them because they are hard to see through. In teaching chemisry, I wanted to emphasize precision. Precision would be hard with these - Saturday, December 20, 2008 Great for elementary kidsReviewed By: Suzanne Mallery I had to search to find graduated cylinders that would not break, but we have been very happy with these. We don't worry about breakage or kids getting hurt, and so far we haven't had any complaints about kids having difficulty reading them. I really wanted graduated cylinders for the elementary kids because they use metric measurement and are the same type of equipment that is used in regular labs. I much prefer to help kids be comfortable with regular lab equipment rather than translating labs into teaspoons and tablespoons. These graduated cylinders are affordable and safe, and realistically you don't want to be using strong solvents with elementary kids anyway, so moving to poly rather than glass is no problem. - Friday, November 16, 2007 Use for Xacto knife cover This just fits a medium Xacto knife. You can insert the knife, blade first, and stand the knife securely without it rolling around your project area.
