This unique Space Theater home planetarium gives you a room-sized view of the night sky, projecting star positions as points of light onto any wall or ceiling. Positions are accurate for each day of the year. The home planetarium includes five changeable constellation masks that show 5-7 constellations for each season plus circumpolar (unsetting northern) stars.So whatever the weather outside, you can learn about the night sky without leaving home! This planetarium includes a 32-page activity guide with planet locator tables and an instructional audio CD with facts and ancient stories about the night sky, plus set up and viewing tips for each mask. Uses two C batteries, not included. Size is 9" x 9" x 4.5". Ages 8 & up.
