The students really enjoyed being able to put a color slide to a cell. - Friday, November 16, 2012human blood slides Reviewed By: Victor Arai I was very disappointed in the Wright stain human blood slides. The blood sample was physically too small. There were only Red cells, Lynphocytes, and Monocytes. There were NO granulocytes. The blood sample was poorly prepared. I would not recommend these slides. This customer's money was refunded. - Friday, January 20, 2012Worth the Money Reviewed By: Lorrie Like a previous reviewer, our slide didn't contain a proportionate amount of white blood cells either. However, my boys were still fascinated with the sample. For the $2.50 we paid, it's definitely worth the money. - Tuesday, January 03, 2012Too Few WBCs Reviewed By: Kris My slide had very few white blood cells, far fewer than a normal blood smear, and they are mostly lymphocytes with a few neutrophils, also unlike a normal blood smear. The slide is fine if you just want see a red cell, any single white cell, and a platelet but it is very poor for demonstrating the various WBCs. - Friday, July 29, 2011Nice Slide! Reviewed By: Mia We continued to have difficulty creating our own blood side. This was GREAT and easy for a young teen to visualize on her microscope. Read More Reviews |
