Infrared thermometers are an amazingly easily way to measure temperature. Just point the infrared thermometer gun, press the trigger and align the laser pointer on the object to get an almost instantaneous digital temperature.

This infrared thermometer has a dual range that measures both Fahrenheit and Celsius: from -50 to 380°C and from -58 to 715°F. Other features of the infrared thermometer are fast 1-second update time, LCD readout, °C/°F switch, backlight switch, auto shut-off, and low battery indicator. The infrared thermometer uses one 9-volt battery (not included).
