This extra-large, glass-top insect and butterfly display case is ideal for showing off your collection. It is 1.5" deep on the inside, so it can hold taller specimens. The bottom contains a 3/8"-thick dense white foam board for pinning your butterfly collection or any other insects. Fossils, minerals, and similar objects can be glued to the board as well. This display case has plenty of room for multiple large specimens. Comes with four pins to keep the case lid in place.

To pin a butterfly in the display case: Carefully insert a pin through the thorax, pinning it in the right side of its body. For butterflies and other large winged insects, use a spreading board to make sure the wings dry flat before putting them in display cases.

This case does not come with insect specimens.
