Good sized jar for Insect Killing
Reviewed By: Danice
For a killing jar, I wanted a lid with good fit which was visually different than any other jar I have. Clean fitting, wide enough and easy to open and close quickly, this jar with the plaster cartridge makes using ethyl acetate much safer and easier to use. Because the jar is opened and closed quickly, my concern about safely and correctly using ethyl acetate are less with this jar/plaster combo. Not only knowing that my insects are not in contact with the liquid, as well as the smooth and tightly fitting lid, keep fumes safely contained, killing insects as humanely as possible, while not being unsafe to open and close inside, in a well ventilated area.

This glass jar seals up much better than plastic ones I have used.

A must have for collecting
Reviewed By: Renee
Nice jar and a must have for bug collectors that don't want the more delicate insects to get damaged. We are using this with our 4-H this year.

Well made. You can get a monarch size butterfly in there easily. Above that it gets more difficult

We purchased this to start my sons 4-h project. the jar works great! Plaster soaks up substance and the insect dies quickly and without damage!
