A must have for collecting
Reviewed By: Renee
Nice jar and a must have for bug collectors that don't want the more delicate insects to get damaged. We are using this with our 4-H this year.

Well made. You can get a monarch size butterfly in there easily. Above that it gets more difficult

Insect Killing Jar
Reviewed By: B. Bradt
I haven't used a killing jar for years and this one was well made and easy to use. The base material soaked up the ethyl acetate instantly and did not create a puddle where the insects would have to sit on a wet substrate. When the ethyl acetate is freshly applied, the jar works quite quickly. But the solution needs to be renewed often. That's not really a problem. Make sure to use in a well ventilated area as the smell is strong when opened. But when closed, the jar does not emit fumes.
