Insect killing jar, 9 oz sizeJust add a few drops of ethyl acetate or household insecticide (not included, use only under adult supervision) to the plaster cartridge in the bottom of this jar for an effective insect killing jar.Overall Rating: ![]() Write an online review and share your thoughts with other customers Sort Reviews: Newest | Oldest | Highest Rating | Lowest Rating - Saturday, March 30, 2013Good sized jar for Insect Killing Reviewed By: Danice For a killing jar, I wanted a lid with good fit which was visually different than any other jar I have. Clean fitting, wide enough and easy to open and close quickly, this jar with the plaster cartridge makes using ethyl acetate much safer and easier to use. Because the jar is opened and closed quickly, my concern about safely and correctly using ethyl acetate are less with this jar/plaster combo. Not only knowing that my insects are not in contact with the liquid, as well as the smooth and tightly fitting lid, keep fumes safely contained, killing insects as humanely as possible, while not being unsafe to open and close inside, in a well ventilated area. - Tuesday, July 31, 2012Glass jar Reviewed By: Ben This glass jar seals up much better than plastic ones I have used. - Friday, November 11, 2011A must have for collecting Reviewed By: Renee Nice jar and a must have for bug collectors that don't want the more delicate insects to get damaged.
