Above that it gets more difficult - Tuesday, April 27, 2010Off to a good start Reviewed By: Amanda We purchased this to start my sons 4-h project. the jar works great! Plaster soaks up substance and the insect dies quickly and without damage! - Friday, April 10, 2009Insect Killing Jar Reviewed By: B. Bradt I haven't used a killing jar for years and this one was well made and easy to use. The base material soaked up the ethyl acetate instantly and did not create a puddle where the insects would have to sit on a wet substrate. When the ethyl acetate is freshly applied, the jar works quite quickly. But the solution needs to be renewed often. That's not really a problem. Make sure to use in a well ventilated area as the smell is strong when opened. But when closed, the jar does not emit fumes. - Tuesday, January 06, 2009Insect jar Reviewed By: tjackson Jar was easy to use. |
