A staple for collecting
Reviewed By: Danice
When I first started collecting, I used straight pins from a sewing kit. They did not perform well and damaged my specimens. Insect pins are essential to collecting. Allowing the insect to be pinned, limiting the damage to the specimen, but also allowing insects to be pinned correctly, according to type. An inexpensive way to create a professional collection as a hobby collector. I find that the stainless steel pins are excellent for my collection, I live in a very humid area. They are easy to use (a pinning block helps alot) but they allow for the best preservation methods of my collection that I can create.
