Beginner level: ages 10-13.

Comes with full assembly and operating instructions. You provide two AA batteries, household tools, and help for younger children.

With the Jungle robot kit, kids will learn about sensors, gear drives, logic, circuit and block diagrams, and basic electronics.

  • Assembled electronic PC board
  • Hard plastic arms and body
  • A DC motor
  • Sound sensor with microphone
  • Other small parts for assembly

Robot Kits

I bought both the Rockit Robot and Jungle Robot kits for my grandson. His dad helped him assemble the kits and was really enjoying how they worked. Very informative on how robots work.

Fun Toy
Reviewed By: Michelle Copher
My 10-year-old put this kit together with lots of help from his dad. It's a great toy and he loves it. He learned a little about robotics, but the information in the package, both assembly directions and information about robots and robotics could have been more complete.

Jungle Robot Kit
Reviewed By: KL
This is a good starter kit - not too complicated, and quick to make progress on. My daughter opened it and started on it as soon as it came. The one drawback is that the directions are not as good as they could be- the pictures are accurate, but the language isn't. For instance the text might tell you to do something with a part "m" while the parts only go from "a" through "i". It isn't difficult to figure out what you are supposed to do, but I might try a different manufacturer when we get an intermediate or advanced robot kit.

This was Fun

When I was 9 years old I built this robot kit by myself and it was fun. I showed it as part of my science fair project on technology. This is a great product.
