These fascinating small invertebrates are embedded in clear acrylic blocks for up-close viewing. You can use a stereo microscope or magnifiying glass to see more specimen detail, although they're also fun for kids to look at without magnification. This set includes a scorpion, giant ant, wasp, and flower bug. Each block is approximately 2" long. Ages 5 & up.

Not bad

Pretty cool. Well made. I would have been nice to get some detailed descriptions to turn them from novelty to educational.

Great idea!

We love these specimens hidden in an acrylic block! It's great to be able to handle them and view the specimen from all angles with or without your microscope. A bit pricy, but well worth the price!
