Molecules BookThis Janice VanCleave book contains 20 science experiments to use for a science fair project or just to have fun learning about molecules. Most of the experiments use household items or objects that are easy to obtain. The projects are all well-explained, with illustrations and clear step-by-step instructions. A few of the ideas included in this book are seeing if water molecules are in constant motion, learning about emulsion, and making Epsom salt crystals. 88 pages. It takes you out of a text book and into fun learning experiments that make sense. The book also has a section on how to put a science fair project together. I plan on using this in our home school this year as a way for one child to really work on his project then have to present it to the family. Everyone learns and it will be interesting. |
