Best EverReviewed By: Robert LeHane This is one of those instructional items that everyone should try. One thing I want to mention is if you want to purchase something for someone to learn this is the way to go! No Ifs Ands or Butts.

Good stuffReviewed By: Mark A good learning tool for my 10 year old grandson. We got it for a science fair project and it operates well but the fan belt keeps falling off after the disributor is put on and run electrically. We can spin it but hand and it will stay on, but falls off when it runs on battery power...but still an excellent teaching tool!

Wonderful in showing the concept.Reviewed By: Debbie I had ordered two of these in order to put one together. I had requested the part the same day I ordered the second kit. Still haven't recieved the missing pieces. I probably have had the worse luck with this kit cause when I ordered the second kit I recieve it was missing a part also but it had double of another and neither was the part I needed for the first kit. My son loved the experience and really enjoys the finished product. It was all very worth the trouble.

Works ok but screws provided with kit are to big for the wholes had a hard time getting most all the screws down tight enough for the moter to function correct expesualy the gear motor screws.
Gear motor screws have to be to be tight flush with the body of the motor assembly or the gear will slip and not run smooth
The valve assembly is very poorly designed could not get the valves in there correct positions to operate the lifters correctly in line with the pistons and lifter bearings so I had to leave the Valves out of the kit which then the lifters do not function at all
The timing distributor is poorly designed and screws would not tighten enough to keep the proper timing order for all four pistons. Spark plugs would not stay in place with out a touch of model glue
Motor block valve and valve cover would not tighten down enough to flush the screws with the body of the motor.
Other than that it really is a great teaching aid four students that are mentally disabled to learn the over all function of a working motor.
I purchased this motor for my nephew for Christmas, who is mentally challenged and with a lot of my assistance we both where able to put it together and it is working. He now has it on his dresser for display

The only help he needed was he had difficulty with some of the screws stripping but with a little help from Dad all was well. The instructions were clear and educational.
