Definitely a lot of funReviewed By: Hal Whiting I agree with the other review about the food coloring. Do not waste time trying to use the powders in the kit. The containers were hard to open, spilled easily and the yellow never did dissolve correctly. Save time and mess with the store bought food coloring. The results of the experiment was impressive. The diffraction glasses were a big hit and the prism in conjunction with the filters gave a great demonstration of light absorption. My two young scientists are now busy with prisms and lenses (not included in kit) doing a series of their own contrived ideas. Great Kit Overall

Fun, but could be messy This is a very fun and informational kit! But the food coloring in this kit was hard to mix and it made a mess all over my counter. This should be done over the kitchen sink or better yet, just use food coloring from the store.
