(Physics - Companion CD
This is the multimedia companion to Apologia's Exploring Creation with Physics, 2nd edition. It contains all of the add-ons that can be found on the Physics CD-ROM, but excludes the text of the course. This is the perfect supplement for those who want to use a print textbook but are interested in the extras that can be found on the CD-ROM. It also includes lab demonstration videos.Examples of multimedia content on this CD:
- Animation: Series circuit - moving diagram showing a circuit with two light bulbs and how the circuit works.
- Pronunciation: Ultrasonic - 1-second clip of a voice saying "Ull-cha-rah-saw-nick."
- Movie: Magnetic field lines - short film of iron filings in a viscous liquid being attracted in a pattern to the poles of a magnet.
Note: Requires a PC computer with sound card, speakers, and a printer, running Windows 95/NT or higher. Requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher (provided on the CD). We recommend at least a Pentium 100 processor with 16Mb of RAM.
