Nice Pocket Microscope
 
My six year old daughter has really enjoyed this microscope. As soon as it arrived, we took it out of the box and she began exploring the world around her. We were able to look at everything from child prepared slides to leaves and rocks outside. She even explored with hair pigment, to wood grain on the table, and fibers in material. I anticipate her using this quite a bit. It is quite impressive for a little microscope and is great for starting out. This has been a great introduction for her and I look forward to us moving on to purchase a regular microscope.

This is a great microscope! I'm using it for a science fair project that involves Protists, I'm able to see all of them. Everyone in my family wants to borrow it, it's alot of fun.

I purhcased this for my 11 year old son as a Christmas gift. This microscope is great to drop into a backpack when hiking and camping. We were able to observe bugs, leaves and moss upclose. I highly recommend this product. Thanks!

I saw this same item at a homeschool convention for way more than sold here, so I am glad that I had already run out of money:) When I ordered this a few weeks ago my kids weren't impressed but once it arrived it has been used to look at the prepared Botany slides I bought, a fly's wing, moss, an aphid, salt and so much more. This really does the job for my kids (12 & 8) and I'm sure it will spur us on to bigger things! Thanks!

Reviewed By: Denise Parr  I bought this microscope for my 6 yr. old nephews, but my 13 yr. old evaluated the product. He liked the way the base slides off so you can examine mold on bread, outdoor bugs, and crystals. We also purchased the Kids Microscope slide set and were able to view the slides with all 3 magnifications. This is a great portable tool for a parent with curious children. My nephews will need adult supervision and help focusing the microscope, but this is a great alternative to buying an expensive model until they get older and more careful.
