(Portable Micro Lab Burner
This lab burner is designed with safety in mind. The stable, tip-resistant burner with easy-grip handle provides safe use. The push-button igniter and flame adjustment knob ensure you get the flame size you need within seconds. This burner fits under all standard ring stands. It refills quickly and easily using the fill valve built into the burner base and a standard multi-fill butane fuel cartridge (fuel is not included). It holds 40 grams of butane which burns for 1-2 hours. The output of this burner is about 2000 BTU/hour and it boils a 250ml beaker full of water in about two minutes. It generates a flame temperature of up to 2000°F. Use instead of a bunsen burner or hot plate. 3" diameter and 3.25" tall.Fuel cartridges are the same as those used for refilling butane BBQ lighters and kitchen torches and are readily available locally or from www.rei.com (search for "butane fuel").
