Real Science 4 Kids Level 1 Set

Each topic (Chemistry, Biology, and Physics) is covered in an individual 10-chapter softcover book; the three together provide a year of science if you do one chapter per week. Each chapter has an experiment that is designed around the scientific method, encourages investigation, and use mostly household items. The separate teacher's manuals for each topic contain lesson planning tips, background information, and answers to the review questions. It is a perfect starting point for all upper-level science. I wish I had had this good of a foundation of the scientific method instead of the usual topical science that is taught in middle school. Real Science 4 Kids is very user friendly, even for this non-science loving family. It is also a very thorough and precise program. I have fun supplementing with additional experiments, some DNA study, and a Human Body unit. Real Science 4 Kids Level 1
Real Science 4 Kids makes it easy to teach Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. The lab experiments are easy to follow, the wording isn't above the grade level indicated! My children love! this curriculum! I would recommend this to parents who do not know alot about science. The teachers manual goes in depth more than the student text does. It's an easy reader, the pictures are great and the information is understandable!!
