irradiated seedsReviewed By: Marian My son is using the seeds for his Nuclear Science merit badge. We are still in the process of growing ours but they have started to come up. It will be interesting to see if there is a difference compared to the control group. There were lots of seeds. We certainly didn't need all of them.

good resultsReviewed By: Kathy Ruiter We used the irradiated seed set for BJ 7th grade life science. It took the seeds several days to sprout, so we really didn't see much difference between the control and the irradiated seeds for 10 days, with the best differences at two weeks. But the boys were impressed at the fewer, whimpy, strange plants that were growing from the more irradiated seeds. It sparked a good conversation on our need to avoid radiation (sun/skin, unnecessary x-rays, ...) We only used 10 seeds out of each packet; donated the rest (lots of leftovers) to a school.
