Spring scale, 100 g/1 N

Spring scales measure weight or force by hanging objects from their hooks. To measure loose material such as sand, pour it into a plastic bag and hang the bag from the spring scale hook. This one has a dual scale that reads 0-100g in 1g increments and 0-1 Newtons in 0.01 Newton increments.

Great money saver

This scale was listed under the LifePac Curriculum 8th grade kit. It was an alternative to a much more expensive scale and did the job beautifully. It is nice that Home Science Tools offers alternatives and can match up products to my homeschool curriculum.
