Quickly locate and identify stars visible to the naked eye with this unique device. The StellarscopeŽ 2 star maps are accurate every night of the year. Just attach the adapter for your latitude, rotate the time/date selector for the current day and time, and look through the StellarscopeŽ 2 with proper east-west orientation and you have a star map aligned with the actual night sky.
- Includes star maps for both the Northern and Southern hemispheres with over 1500 stars identified and the brightest stars identified by name.
- The star maps are accurate between 20° and 60° North or South latitude.

Stellarscope Star Locator The Stellarscope is a nice tool for finding out what is in the night sky. Through it, you see a map of the night sky which is supposed to help you locate and identify stars. With the included accessories, it will work in any latitude. While it is an exciting tool, it is not very practical for my purposes. The map is so small and the sky is so big which made it very complicated for me. I would much prefer using a map of the sky from a book or a wheel chart, one that is less detailed and bigger. Maybe someone who is very interested in learning more detail about the night sky would appreciate this more than me. It is not difficult to use, just too detailed for me. I'd rather invest in a good pair of binoculars or a telescope and have a good chart from a book to help me locate what I want to find.
