Telescope Filter Set
These filters enhance viewing of the moon and planets by improving contrast and reducing the effects of light pollution and atmospheric turbulence. Orion glass filters are uniform in color and use high-quality coatings to reduce unwanted reflections. They are threaded to fit the eyepieces on most standard 1.25" scopes, including all of the eyepiece we offer or that come with our telescopes. They also have threads on the top so that filters can be stacked to produce different color combinations. Each filter is mounted in a black anodized aluminum cell printed with its Wratten (color reference) number. This eyepiece set includes four basic telescope filters: #15 deep yellow, #25 red, #80A medium blue, and #58 green. Orion item 5514.
