good to have around

For such a cheap price, it is good to have around. It makes an okay stirring rod, so many times I find myself use it as a source of comfort since I wouldn't feel bad if I break it while stirring if it costs so little.

Needs to be calibrated for complete accuracy
 
Very good product, but I bought 4 of them and measured the same thing to compare. They varied by several degrees. So once I marked them with the calibration they were fine, but they are not accurate. [Home Science Tools adds: Unfortunately, low-cost thermometers like this are only accurate to +/- 2° C, which is sufficient for most experiments.]
