Weasel Robot Kit
Your kids will be fascinated by this "seeing" and "feeling" robot - they can even create mazes and paths for it to solve. Photo-transistors allow the Weasel robot to "see" and follow a black line. Then the contact sensor allows it to "feel" walls and move along them. The robot's speed can also be controlled with the three-speed gearbox. Advanced beginner level: ages 10-14.
Includes assembly and operating instructions. You provide two AA batteries, household tools, and help for younger children. See kit contents below.

InterestingReviewed By: Kim My 9 year old got this but his Grandfather had to put it together. He loves this robot car, but it is for an adult to put together. Looks like a mouse which he thought was reeally neat.

Excellent Intro to RoboticsReviewed By: Michael The Weasel Robot Kit is a really neat way to introduce your child to robotics. It is complicated enough to give them an idea of the intricacy of robotics while not overwhelming them. My 8 year old daughter gets a kick out of drawing the line and having the Weasel follow it.
